I am considered one of the “Oldest Zumba Gold Fitness Instructors in the World“. I am 73yrs old and flattered that my career as a Coach, Author, Speaker specializing in Senior Health & Fitness is expanding to include Chair Zumba and Zumba Gold Fitness classes. The majority of my classes are held in Assisted Living, Independent and Skilled Nursing Care facilities bringing joy, sexy, aliveness and smiles to the residents.
The following facilities/organizations in The Hampton Roads area (Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Chesapeake) have invited Grandma Shellie to teach residents Cha-Cha, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Flamenco and even Belly Dance.

PLEASE make a Zumba gold DVD!!! Some of us can’t keep up with the ones that are available!
Thank you for your interest in a Zumba gold DVD. I agree with you. Having a Zumba gold DVD to use at home is important for us seniors. however as a member of th Zumba Instructor network, we are not permitted to create or sell our own DVDs.
I understand that, but wish the people who put out regular Zumba DVDs online would consider that some people might like a slower version. Their “beginner” courses are way to fast and complicated. I am very active, but not a dancer at all, and very uncoordinated. Don’t live anywhere near a senior Zumba class.
I agree with you totally. I am currently in communication with the ZIN legal department to determine what I can/cannot do as an Instructor. I will let you know if there is any change in my previous answer to you.Thank you again for taking the time to write to me.
