I began teaching Zumba Gold in Nov 2010. I went to convention in 2011 and began teaching Zumba Gold Toning. My class loves it. I have done a Zumba chair class for the local nursing home. They enjoyed the class. After the remodeling is done in their facility, we are hoping to have a weekly class. That class was the most fun. The participants loved to make noise as they danced in their chairs. Tomorrow I’ll be giving a talk about Zumba Gold and Chair to a group called the Lifelong Learners. We are planning on doing a chair workout with them. I’m excited to share my love for Zumba with others.

I am a member of the Zumba Instructor Network and unfortunatley, they do not allow Instructors to make their own DVDs or videos. I am working with them at this time, encouraging them to change these rules. I will let you all know when that occurs.

Why don’t you tape some of your classes and sell copies to us oldsters who would just love to dance with you in our own homes. Their “beginner” courses are way to fast and complicated. I am very active, but not a dancer at all, and very uncoordinated. Don’t live anywhere near a senior Zumba class.
